Electrofit Industrial Solutions
Providing a clear path to profitability, whilst delivering on legislative and ethical environmental goals
How can we help you?
Do you have a diesel or gas sideloading forklift truck or other similar heavy duty industrial mobile machinery but would like to convert to the benefits of electric power?
EIS are studying the feasibility of carrying out these conversions and pioneering the way for an approved NEW REM standard (The REM Association) for electrically powered equipment, with improved functionality over the ICE (internal combustion engine) equipment it replaces.
Because EIS is built differently, we have an objective view on how to help protect and grow your margins, without compromising profit against environmental goals. Taking a different perspective has allowed us to turn difficult environmental targets into profitable new revenue streams. We would love to discuss how we can work together and help your business turn potential pinch points into opportunities for growth.
EIS is to setup a UK based factory to produce 400+ REM machines per year (£32M+)
The REM Association aims to facilitate simple and safe adoption of REM vehicles.
In creating a new classification of vehicle, by remanufacturing and electrifying old internal combustion engine machinery, it has become apparent that no standards exist for the assurance, quality and safety of the equipment. It has therefore become necessary to create The REM Association to set up the new required standards and legislation to ensure safety and adoption for the new REM market segment.
In Partnership with REM
The REM Association (Remanufacturing and Electrification of non-road mobile Machinery). Benefitting from a 20% reduction in Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) and the potential to retain over 80% of the imbedded CO2 from the original manufacturing, REM aim to create the standards to use redundant ICE machines and upcycle them, with accreditation and warranties to match and be as good as new.
Increasingly high costs in running Internal Combustion Engine (ICE) machinery and Forklift Trucks and the greater availability of competitive ZERO emission, electric powered alternatives, is now causing supply issues. There is also a high risk of the redundant ICE machinery and forklift trucks being scrapped.
Forklift trucks and industrial machinery running costs are increasing disproportionally to companies’ profits, in many cases increases of over 200% in the last 18 months. The lowering costs of lithium-ion (electric) alternatives, and their inherent reduction in running costs, has greatly increased the demand for these electric alternatives.
